All assignments should be word-processed. Label all printouts and photocopies of material with your name. Fasten all parts of an assignment together. All preparations must be JOURNAL articles. Patents are not acceptable.
1. Set up an account for yourself on RefWorks. Produce a bibliography, in ACS format, of any 10 articles in which the compound assigned to you appears. Articles should be from journals.
2. Do a subject search in SFS. Locate the 5 most recent articles on the subject of the article which you chose in Assignment 3a. Prepare a RefWorks bibliography of these articles.
3. Locate one article in SFS dated previous to 1920 (or oldest available) which is NOT a preparation of your compound but discusses some other aspect of your compound (such as use as a reagent, physical properties, sources, uses, etc.)
