Dr. Tajik joined the UML faculty this year after completing post-doctoral work in community-based participatory research in environmental epidemiology and environmental justice at the University of North Carolina. MansourehÕs special interest is in providing research support to communities designing and evaluating intervention programs to mitigate public and environmental health problems. The talk will focus on research methods and is aimed at those with interests in qualitative, participatory, and action research, environmental health and environmental justice, and those concerned with issues involved in working with marginalized communities.
