Dear Mother
having at last concluded
to write a few lines to let you know where I am and what I
am doing I am to work in a harness shop which
is very easy indeed I have a very good
boarding place They seem to be very good folks
they atend family prayers every morning
which makes me think of home I should
not left the mill but there was a girle here and she
said she would get me a chance in the shop and
I spike to Amy4
about it but she did not say
much about it and finley I left on my own hook
and then she declaired right up and down that
I should not go one step and you know that I
wont be drove by any one so I went and have
not seen her since
[----] so you must excuse me for now
