 Dear Friend I suppose you will
disappointed in not seeing me at Mont
Vernon4 before this time but my
health is better then it was when
you went home I do not know when
I shall go home know - if my health
is good not til September

      I want to hear from home
very much indeed  I want you
to write as soon as you get this letter
I want you to go to Lyndeborough5
to Johnsons6 and to Fathers7 and see all
the folks  tell Johnson to write all
the news and how things are doing
at our house - - - -

      I donít think of any thing more
to write now and so I must Bid
you good By til I hear from
you again
      yours with Respect
