Public Documents Masterfile has been made available for free trial access from Paratext Publishing for one month through November 9, 2012.

Public Documents Masterfile enables a single search for indexes and records for over 200 years of U.S. Federal government information. It covers materials directly related to politics and government alongside materials in the physical sciences, technology, law, agriculture, and the social sciences.

  • Links to over 9 million full text documents from a variety of repositories.
  • Cross-search predecessors to the Monthly Catalog including Poore’s, Ames and Hickcox.
  • Search over 1.6 million federally-funded technical and research reports.
  • Link to over 39,000 records and links to Readex’s Congressional Serial Set.

In addition, PDM has expanded to become a cumulative source for locating, cataloging and distributing information provided by government entities from around the world.
