Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) Virtual Library trial

The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) is providing UMass Lowell Libraries with one-month trial access to its collection of 37 ejournals. The trial runs from November 17 to December 16, 2011.

The ICE Virtual Library hosts all the content from ICE Publishing, the publishing division of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).  This is the world’s most comprehensive online civil engineering resource. All told, ICE provides online access to over 1,500 books and 37 journals that cover all aspects of civil engineering.

As part of its ejournal collection, for example, ICE Proceedings form a unique interface between the worlds of theory and practice in civil engineering. They constitute 18 parts, covering every major civil engineering disciples, from energy to ground improvement, urban design and planning to construction materials. Other titles such as Geotechnique and Magazine of Concrete Research are internationally renowned for publishing research of the highest quality.
